About Us
Taylor and Allison Martyn both grew up in Christian homes in the SouthWest. They met at John Brown University where they pursued degrees they saw as beneficial in promoting the Gospel overseas. Taylor studied Digital Media & video production and Allison studied Community Development with Taylor taking some classes in CD as well.
Their first exposure to SIM came through missions conferences at JBU. They were married after graduating in 2003 and have been working in various ministries both in the church and parachurch, waiting for God’s timing. The Martyns joined the SIM team in 2006. After raising a support team they moved to Africa in 2008. They served in South Sudan in 2009 and moved to Kenya in 2010.
About Sudan
The Martyns will be leaving January 2012 to serve in East Africa with SIM & AIM. Taylor will be creating video, photography and stories for East Africa.
