About Us
Taylor and Allison Martyn both grew up in Christian homes in the SouthWest. They met at John Brown University where they pursued degrees they saw as beneficial in promoting the Gospel overseas. Taylor studied Digital Media & video production and Allison studied Community Development with Taylor taking some classes in CD as well.
Their first exposure to SIM came through missions conferences at JBU. They were married after graduating and have been working in various ministries both in the church and parachurch, waiting for God’s timing. The Martyns joined the SIM team in 2006 and are currently raising support & preparing for service in Sudan.
About Sudan
The Martyns will be leaving in January 2008 to serve in Sudan. Taylor will be the Communications Director, creating video, photography and stories for the country. They will also do community development work through water development projects and other health & development projects as needed in the areas they will be serving.
