I lost about 5 pounds of peanuts to mice once. Shalene would awake to me running around our house in the middle of the night trying to throw anything handy at it. They are considered a delicacy in West Africa. Our guard in Niger wanted me to pay him for every rat he caught that he would then eat or sell on to others for a nice tidy profit. :-) Not the macbook :-)
