Simple Things

So we took care of one mouse in our first minutes home yesterday. Last night we captured one more mouse and 1 large rat. These guys are getting into all our food, making for a daily cleanup and making a mess in my media cabinet. We think there are still more. Please pray we can rid our house of these guys. So far nothing valuable as been found destroyed, but they did walk on Taylor’s laptop last night

Not the macbook
Seriously don't your guards eat the rats? They are considered a delicacy in West Africa. Our guard in Niger wanted me to pay him for every rat he caught that he would then eat or sell on to others for a nice tidy profit.

We had the same experience. I lost about 5 pounds of peanuts to mice once. Shalene would awake to me running around our house in the middle of the night trying to throw anything handy at it. I finally stopped when I threw a boot and it nearly hit my laptop. We started packing mouse traps on every trip.
