Okay, so my title isn’t all that accurate. Today I went shopping with some young veteran missionaries and I picked up a 40 in 1 pack DVD. It cost me 200 shillings, roughly $3. 3 of the films on the DVD have not even been released on DVD yet. This should be interesting as I know a number of them are recorded by people going into theaters and recording with a video camera. I always thought this was just a China thing.

On a related note, you can see movies in the theater in Nairobi for 200 shillings and get a drink and food with it. Paying $10 at NorthPark mall to see a movie really got me turned off going to the theater to see movies.
